After my first pregnancy, I not only developed stretch marks on my stomach but my arms too. I hate it so much because I cant expose my arms without feeling uncomfortable.

I didn't get any on my stomach just three small ones on my hip but there not visible and don't really matter because my behind is covered with them... But I lost weight at first and the BC made me gain it back so thats when the SM on my arm formed... I was just disgusted I only weighed 100lbs before getting pregnant/FOREVER and I'm 140 now in all the wrong places... Palmer's cocoa butter cream or vitamin E work wonders!!!

Yeah. its something i think plenty of mums wish they didn't get after having a child. Mine are around my tummy and stretch around my "love handles", I also have them on my boobs, bum, inner thighs and on my calves. I also know of mums who didn't gain any at all after pregnancy. I'm pretty sure its got to do with the elasticity of your skin whilst your preggers. The best you could do right now without going as far as surgery is what jennifer suggested. They are still quite visible turning silvery and all but some people prefer it over the maroon.
I know, it kinda sucks. I wouldn't dare go to the beach in a bikini anymore!
I'm slowly getting over it though. My partner's keeps encouraging me that its only natural and he still loves me with or without them :S and thats what you gotta keep reminding yourself i think. those who love you most will accept you with or without the stretchmarks.

hi,

i can relate to that. with my first pregnancy i started off at 90 pounds and ended up weighing 210 pounds right before delivery so i was stretched in every way possible. I have tons of stretchmarks on my arms, stomach, legs, thighs, hips...basically my stomach down! i felt subconscious about it for a while but then they fade some. They are still apparent but not as red and you sort of learn to live with them. I tried many creams i and i found them to be awaste of money but maybe you will have better luck. i hope so for you. Chin up, ur still beautiful......they are just love marks from ur child!!

Hey Honey, I had stretch marks everywhere, My stomach, my arms even behind my knees, And I only put on 10kg. I have found that the best thing for them is bio oil, and rosehip oil massaged in twice a day, My baby is only 2 weeks old and they have already faded to a silverly white color. It was really frustrating for me as not one of my friends got a single stretch mark. good luck with it honey they will eventually fade!
