I do the Wii Fit as well. I put the littlest one (13 months old) in an exersaucer or high chair for his snack. And let the toddler (3 y.o) color with crayons at the kitchen table. It works for a quick 30 minute go. (to protect the Wii I bought the superyard gates that break apart and put it surrounding out entertainment center (really just a sideboard/bottom of a hutch) so that the kids cant get to it).

I also like pilates/yoga DVDs you can do from home. They are slimming and get your muscles back to where they were before.

Ya, the Wii Fit set runs about $80 here. Honestly I wait for my children to go to bed at night and get my fat but on it. Some days I do the training during nap time too. Your baby girl isn't too old either. Try to find 30 minutes to put her in a play-pin or crib if she doesn't nap.

I promise it is like a miracle game. What I found best with my children as well... after having them destroy an insane amount of my things, is that some things are mine, and are off limits. I felt bad at first because they would throw down when I took things or put things out of reach. But what works well, is "out of sight~out of mind". Also trading things.. maybe a distracting toy in trade for your Wii to be left alone.

It's good, but finding the time isn't always easy - Plus my baby tries to destroy my Wii and everything for it...plus it's expensive.

Get the Wii Fit. You can do it at home and in the middle of the night if you need to. I just borrowed my sisters like a month ago and have already lost quite a few inches. It is helpful in that it keeps charts and such. After my first child it took like 2 years to shed the fat. Now after 2 more in 2 years... I was stuck in a mommy body.

But that game really does help you burn some fat, and kind of quick... I am working at 2 lbs per week.. which is good and moderate.

Hi there,

I know exaclty what you're going through here...although being from England I weigh myself in stones and pounds :D lol

Before I became pregnant I was overweight, about 15 stone...while I was pregnant I was very ill and as a result I lost 4 stone. Luckily my baby was born a healthy weight despite the fact I went so long without eating etc - But that's another story...

Anyway, even though I had been so ill, I had lost so much weight I was thrilled! My baby will be one on the 2nd of September, and guess what!? 2 and a half of that lost weight has crept back on...it's not that I'm lazy, I'm up early everyday with the little one, I take her for a walk every day weather permitting etc etc - My problem is I put weight on really easily and have to work really hard to loose it, so I have been doing...

I don't know if you can get them where you live, but we have a lot of celebrity fitness DVD's over here...I know it sounds cheesey but they really worked for me. It's hard to find the time with an 11 month old, but I'm managing nearly an hour a day while she's napping and sometimes she'll watch me...plus I work part time, so I know it's hard to find time. Other than that I have literally stopped eating everything unhealthy! I don't but crisps, chocolate, peanut butter...it's hard but at the end of every day I am a little bit happier :)
