Does anyone else 8 week old baby eat differnt amounts of their bottle each day?

I have an eight week old baby girl and she started to eat four ouces, but does not always eat four ouces. Some times just two may even just three in a half. Is that normal? I am just afarid she is not getting enough to eat. Any sugesstions?

Yes, every time is different. Your baby may just only need that 2 ounces to satisfy a thirst at one feeding and the next want more and more because they're so hungry. It depends on their moods a lot of the times; how active they are vs sleepiness.

Well thanks that makes me feel better, and she has a doctors appot tuesday so then she will get weighte. She eats anywhere from 18 to 21 ounces in a day so that helps me to remember to write down how many ounces I need to watch for! OH so stressfull to be a mom of an infant! But so worth it!

all babys eat diffrent amounts i know with my son some days he would only drink half of each bottle he had and then other days he would drink every drop as long as bub is still putting on weight it should be fine iif bub is not putting on weight i would be seeing the dr or even the child nurse

I would try to keep track of how much she eats in a whole day. I've been doing this with my son and he will eat anywhere from 21-29 ounces in a day, it's always different. Anywhere from 16-32 (give or take a little) is completely normal for an entire day
