mine started somplaining that he had no socks or work clothes and had to wear dirty 1s so i ask him where they are coz there nothing in the washing basket and hell pick up a weeks worth of clothes and put them in his washing basket THEN ill wash them! if its not in the washing basket it dont get cleaned...and guess what theres always washing in the washing basket now!!! and his plate and glass from tea or lunch stays on the table till he puts it in the sink or i nicely ask if hes forgotten to do anything!

It must be a guy thing. My husband does that too. It's so aggravating because it really isn't that hard to clean up after yourself. Maybe if you explain to him that if he doesn't start cleaning up after himself you aren't going to do it. Hopefully he'll understand that he needs to do it and it really isn't a big deal.

i know the feeling. My husbands does it and when i tell him i spent all day cleaning he would always reply "well i spent all day working" its not like i dont choose to work its just nothings available so i dont think he should be able to use that as an excuse. You just gotta keep on him about picking it up and putting it away. It will eventually sink in.

I have the same problem and I understand how frustrating it is. I agree with Lyndsay MacDonalds comment 100% !

I used to, when he first moved into my home. Since then he's been housebroken. You just really have to stay on top of him -- make him put the shit away right away, because if it sits down it'll end up staying there.

Nope, even my kids pick up thier dirty clothes and they are 3 and 4. I would just pick them up and put them outside.
