During my pregnancy my daught did not cooperate at all during the ultra sound, so it would up a complete surprise that we had a little girl. We had already had names picked out and when I gave birth to a girl we named her Lilian Grace. During my hospital stay a friend told us that Lili has the same initials as the hospital, Lebanon Good Samaritan and Lilian Grace. Both LGS. I thought that it was cute...

Hahaha, that's a really funny subject. Um, My first daughters name is Jaime lee wilson-Dowling. We only used first an last name when writing it on anything, which gave her JD the drink Jack Daniels...That wasn't too bad, until we got married in our 5th year together. And my name taking on My husbands gave me the initials VD. My mum cracked jokes with me for ages about it b/c when she was a girl her initials were VD and when we were old enough to understand what it meant we used to hang shit on her for it. And just so happens i married into it. I did think about it while we were engaged but hey it was obiously meant to be. I make up a story with all our names. Here's the story: We got pulled over by the police and my husband gets done for DD (his initials) with a wife that has VD (my initials) while their daughter in the back is drunk on JD (her initials) meanwhile a friend of ours has just OD'd (our friends initials) in a VW (my mums initials) Gee names can have some funny effects later on in life!!!!

My daughter-to-be will have the initials L.E.G. (Luella Elizabeth Gray). We're calling her "Ella," so it won't be very recognizable unless you know both her real first name AND middle name. And since she's a girl she may change it one day anyway.

Hey my 2 daughters have initials that spell words, sophie Iris(SID) and Mia Ellen(MED). We did relise at the time with my youngest daughter that her initials spelt MED(in Australia we have tampons called meds) my husband thought that was very funny because it kinda suits her as she is moody all the time...lol.

we came up with our 1st son's name before we had our 1st u/s. he was to be cameron scott, csd. at our 1st u/s, we found we were having twins, at the 2nd, we found out they were boys. baby a had a name, baby b was so much harder. with cam's initials not spelling anything, i didn't want any other of our kids to. finally at about 6 mos pregnant, we came up with jonathan lee, jld. five years later, we found ourselves pregnant again and had our boy name picked out, daniel aiden, the only name we could come up with. i was upset, cause his name would spell dad, like his father dereck alan. but at about 14 or 15 weeks, the u/s tech said she was about 95 % sure it was a girl. we hadn't ever thought about girl names! at 20 weeks, it was certain, a girl. we finally named her the day she was born, may 29, 2008. her name is ella gracelyn, egd, no spelling, yay! but it just hit me a couple days ago, if she marrys someone with a last name starting with g, she will be egg, dang, i tried though!
