Holy cow...all you moms who say you got it done at the doctor's office...I didn't know that was possible! How awesome! I am so gonna call mine now! My first daughter had hers pierced (at Claire's) when she was 7 months but I think I wanna do my youngest one earlier...I was thinking 4 months. My husband & his ex-wife decided to wait till their daughter was old enough to take care of them herself, which was long after they divorced and I married him...and she cried so much more at 6 y.o. than my 7m old did...and then had problems with her hair getting caught and them not being cleaned properly and often enough. It was just a big mess...and she ended up taking them out. I support doing it at a very young age: they can't get them dirty, they won't try to play with them just yet, and they won't remember a thing. We don't wait till little boys are old enough to decide whether or not they want to be circumcised! LOL...that would be pretty bad!

i got my daughters ears pierced at 5 months i kno they wont do any younger then two months and they have 2 have all their shot i suggest making sure the place u go 2 has two people so they can do them at the same time if this had been done with my dughter she would hve never cried cause the first one she didnt even flinch i really wish i would have checked into it b4 hand. I personally think the younger the better cause they wont remember and they wont play with them as much. My mother got my sisters ear done at 3 months and mine at seven she said she wishes she would have got my done sooner cause i pulled them out. It's really all ur choice no right or wrong time. hope i helped out.

I had all 3 of my girls ears pierced at 3 mos...that is the earliest age they can be pierced at. Your daughter needs to have for 2 mos shots completed before they can be pierced. I took all my girls to Claire's in Coquitlam Center.

i just talked to a lady at claires yesterday. they said as long as she is 4 months they will do it. and they only do it with 14k gold to reduce the risk of allergies to any other metal. i watched a 5 month old get hers done and she was more upset about her dad holding her head still then actually getting them peirced. i'm going back next weekend to get them done.

I used to work the jewelry counter at Wal-mart. Everyone there goes through training, so you can trust them. I would ask to have both done at the same time. They can do it at any age, as long as her ear lobes are big enough for the gun to fit around. I would suggest either doing it before she can grab her ears or after she is old enough to know not to. Also, you can buy Dermoplast numbing spray in the first aid isle. I would buy some and put it on her ears 15-20 minutes before and she won't know the difference. Some people do it while they are sleeping, but I wouldn't suggest it because it really scares them when the gun makes the noise in their ears.

Wal- Mart did my daughter's ears when she was just a few months old. Every girl will want it done so I did it when she was too young to put dirty hands on them to help prevent infection.

I had my daughters ears pierced at her physicians office. It was really great. She had to be atleast 6 months old and all they did was put an ointment on her ears that numbed them then an hour later they pierced them with a piercing gun that had a sound buffer on it. My little one never even knew it had happened. No pain at all! and best of all, the physician did it so they were able to ease my nerves about infections and everything and keep a close eye on the piercings.

I had my daughters done just over a year old..they did one at a time and as soon as she was done i popped a sucker in her mouth and she cried for 30 secs on and never thought about it after that...but both at the same time is very good..we tried and the second gun malfunctioned

We waited till our daughter was old enough to decied for herself. We went to WalMart and they did it at the same time, that is something you should ask to see if the place you take her to will do both at the same time or if they only do one at a time. Hope that helps. Heather
