It's still far too early to be thinking about anything that may remotely help you go into labor!!! Your baby will arrive when it's ready and it's best to wait for then. That way you reduce the risks of things being wrong or under developed.

I used evening primrose oil capsules starting at 34 weeks to help prepare my cervix. But definitely it is too early for you to be thinking about labor. They recently changed the dates even making 39 weeks full term and 37 weeks preterm. It is hard for sure the last few weeks though to feel comfortable!

My obgyn said not to use black cohosh or blue cohosh during pregnancy because they produce estrogen and when used in large doses can cause contractions I think.
I think that once you're about 37 weeks (full term) you can start using a formula called 5 weeks or something like that. It's supposed to make child birth easier and cause the cervix to soften. It does include black cohosh or blue cohosh I believe.
I used it to try to induce labor because I was a week and a half late. It didn't do it for me, but everyone is different.
The one thing you should look out for is high blood pressure, because the cohosh family ( I guess theyre a family lol) can sometimes cause high blood pressure.
It didn't for me, but just be aware.
