Hello everyone! I have a few questions. My period is very regular 28 day cycle. I have 5 children already and had my last baby last Sept 2011. My last period was Nov 4th but dont think I ovulated until Nov 20th. We had lots of unprotected sex during this time. I had some what seemed like period cramps on Nov 29th three days before expected period and I noticed a very faint pink streak on the toilet paper after I wiped. No period started. The next day I noticed about 2 to 3 drops of brown discharge on the toliet paper after I wiped and then it stopped. The third day I wiped and noticed the faint pink streak again and no its stopped. I took a cheapie preg test this morn and it was negative. My normal period should start tomorrow.Ive never had implantation bleeding before and not sure whats going on or even if thats what it is. Should I try another preg test tomorrow? My period is due tomorrow. .

I had a miscariage at 5 weeks back in October. My only symptom was bleeding and losing a lot of clots.

Some women have their period during pregnancy. I agree with getting it checked out but it doesn't always mean a miscarriage.

I am having a weird experience now. I had brownish discharge for a day. I am 5 weeks. It went away and started pinkish and wet for a day. Then nothing for two days and now today I had brown that turned red. I also had two very small clots. I am worried and doctor said just stay with your normal activities and it could be a miscarriage or not. Not very comforting or informative.

I never passed anything but blood.... this is the weirdest thing ever. Doctors are sending me back to the hospital for more blood work!

No they wont show me the screen, im getting aggravated and wish I would just know whats going on.

Do they not show you on the screen with an ultra sound where you are? At every scan I've ever had (even ones none pregnancy related) they've always shown me the screen that shows what they see.

well here to everyone that has responded I have had no pain throughout the whole thing just bleeding I saw some where in the internet that bleeding is okay as long as your not using more then one pad every hour. (which I'm not) but just starting yesterday the blood has went from brown to a light red color. The tests I had taken on sat the HCG level came back 27 then I had another one taken on Monday and that also came back 27. Still havent heard anything on the ultra sound that they also took monday. All I was asking for is one normal pregnancy my daughter (age 2) came at 32 weeks and my youngest daughter (age 9 months) I started into labor at 34 weeks. All I was asking for is one normal one. Why can some people have it so easy when it comes to pregnancy and yet some people just struggle and struggle

It is normal for many women to have some bleeding in early pregnancy. I didn't have any with my first two children, but I did for a couple of days on and off with this pregnancy. As long as it isn't a lot of bleeding, it's not heavy, there are no clots or heavy cramping, you should be fine, but wait to see what the tests say.

I bled with both my children at the same points in my pregnancy...with both I had spotting (heavier in my second pregnancy) at 6-7 weeks; further spotting (again heavier and more prolonged in my second pregnancy) at 8-9 weeks and a third time at 10 weeks (itwas far heavier in my first pregnancy but lasted longer in my second). With all these bleeds they investigated but found no explanation, I was told some women bleed.

Brown blood normally suggests it is old blood so you have stopped bleeding and are just clearing out the left over blood (in the same way your period starts off red but turns a brownish colour towards the end).

Bleeding isn't always bad, be positive and ask for a scan so you can see baby is ok and if you're over about 7 weeks you should see the heartbeat.

If they took some tests and you're only a few weeks pregnant, there isn't anything you can really do- it might just be spotting, implantation bleed or something to do with your placenta (common) but it could just be an early misscarriage- all you can really do is wait at this point.

I know it's hard but you'll have to wait and see what happens. I had bleeding twice when I was pregnant with my son (at around 6-8 weeks) but then I experienced a normal pregnancy. I hope it all goes ok.
