My daughters pediatrian told me that egg yolks are ok for a baby after they are six months, but egg whites are highly allergic for them. My daughter will be a year old tomorrow and I was wondering if egg whites would be ok to give her now?

I have always given my daughter egg whites..since she started solids at 6months. I actually only gave her the whites of the egg until she was about 1yr old. Now she gets the entire egg. I didnt know anything about the whites being highly allergenic. If UR concerned I would ask the Dr. just incase.

its all ok from 6 months, we got this from the pediatric dietitian at the hospital. they were giving our daughter scrambled eggs at the hospital when she was 9-10 months, and ive since been told on here that its ok from 6 months

I saw the same thing on another post but i have been giving my daughter scrambled eggs and just last night she had a fried egg. I have never asked her pediatrician about it. but my older one refused to eat baby food at six months and i gave her scrambled eggs for breakfast. I dont see a problem with it but if you are really concerned i would ask your dr first.
