Congrats! I have to say my favorite website when I was expecting was "babyzone" You should try it out! Keep us posted on your pregnancy, this will be the most memorable time of your life so truly soak up every day. My one advice since you are so early in your pregnancy is use cocoa butter lotion on your belly! And have the expecting daddy take pictures of you weekly to watch your progress. I did it about monthly but forgot to hold up a sign in the pics to say how far along I was :( It is so much fun to look back at the pics now that my son is almost 2. Good luck! :)

Uhm, why did you get pregnant if you can't take care of yourself? Seriously, get a job that has good insurance and maternity care and work for as long as you can as hard as you can. Cut your budget, take the bus, eat pickles and peanut butter. When you're a mommy you MAKE it work.

Look for a job at Maternity clothing stores, they love hiring pregnant women. Lot's of places hire temporarily, that's how kids get summer jobs ; ). I worked at a bakery for 2 months when I was pregnant and he hired me when I was 7 months along! A friend of mine got a temporary job at an office when she was pregnant, and they liked her so much that they want to hire her back, lol. Just don't give up and start handing out resumes now.

Also, I found that when I worked at a restaurant, I made the most money. So maybe try getting hired as a hostess and ask to be able to waitress one or two nights a week now. That way when your bigger, you just need to seat people and scrap the serving part all together. They may want you back after the baby. You never know ; )

Just do the best you can. Love your baby no matter what. I don't know what to say that can help your financial situation, I can imagine getting a job while pregnant is not an easy thing to do, it might mean you have to go back out into the workforce when your child is still young, but maybe try working from home, look around & see if you can find an online bussiness or something you can sell on ebay.

Good luck, it's an awsome ride...

And just so you know, unless you're 'Branjelina', you'll NEVER actually be able to 'afford' to have kids, but you get by.

get a job. you will need money to raise your baby. i hate to see women get pregnant then not want to go to work and assume the government will do everything for them. unless the dad is going to help financially.
