Hi there. I just joined this community and am looking for a bit of advice. I am 24 and have two sons. My oldest just turned 5 and is starting kindergarten on Monday. I have never been a fashion person. I have never had many female friends and the ones I did have, wore jeans and t-shirts like I did. Now, I am trying to figure out how to transition from wearing jeans and t-shirts to a more 'grown up' look, if you will. I am struggling to find that balance between 'trendy 20 something' and '40 something stay at home mom.' Just wondering if anybody else has had this same issue or if you could give me some pointers. As I said, I am fashion illiterate. haha.

Haha! That's how I feel, too. Too young or too old. Then I see other people pull it off and wonder how they do it...

I am in the same transition. I'm 28 with an 8 & 9 year old. I feel like I'm either dressing like a college student and looking too young or dressing like a soccer mom and looking too old. I've been struggling with this for a while. Now I'm so close to my 30's I feel like I might as well just stick with my 'slightly trendy bohemian-esque mixed up soccer mom on the verge of a mid-life crisis' look. It could work...I guess.
