I can understand how you feel though having to deal with these seizures, i guess the only thing you could do in your circumstance is to try and make sure her temp does not run too high by giving her paracetamol or ibuprofen based baby medicines when she’s unwell, they normally won’t give emergency medication such as rectal diazepam and bucal madazalam unless the seizure are severe. I read somewhere that children who suffer with febrile convulsions usually grow out of them with age, i don’t know if any of this information is of any help? X x x

They don't last more than 4 minutes. The 3 times she had them she had a fever over 104. The second time she had it I took her to the ER then while we were waiting for doctors she had her 3rd one. So she stayed overnight for observation and she had a catscan, xrays, and an eeg. They were a little concerned that it might be epilepsy but all her tests were normal.

my son has epilepsy, so i can understand how you feel when your baby has a siezure, it's terrifying, when my son was 2 and half he had his first fit. but just a month later he had another and then two weeks later another so he's on medication now. how long do they last? my sons were half an hour and that is dangerous, at first they be;ieved they were febrile but he still has them to this day with no temperature.
