My daughter is 3 months and started rice cereal. She loves it and I can't feed her fast enough. My question is: when did your child become more regular with bowl movements? Before our little girl had 3-4 poops a day now it's 1. Is that normal or should we stop the rice cereal?

Children are challenging, even with something that should seem simple.
I believe the norm is anywhere between 3 times a day to 3 times a week.
If it seems your daughter is having difficulty or pain whilst doing a poo, then cut down on the rice cereal.
I started my son on rice cereal at 3 months as well, and it helped alot with his sleeping and feeding cycles.

Hi Kasey,
The americal pediatric's recommendation is to start solids at 6 months, and rice cereal has been of late criticised for not being a right first foods. Starting solids early is associated with increase in allergies. For first foods, blended squash and fruits are a more nutritious choice than rice cereal.
Hope that helps,
