Feeling super stressed out.

I'm 28 and live in FL, my 3 year old was just diagnosed with cancer. I work full time, if not over time, to be able to provide and give my son everything he needs. Now, with new health issues, I'm in need of finding a new place to live, a better job where I don't have to sacrifice financially so that I can take my child to and from doctor visits and treatments, and any unexpected ER trips. Prior to this, I was in search of a bigger more reliable vehicle. Then to top it all off, my son's dad shows up from out of state and tells me he has filed for shared custody. My son's condition is not going to let that happen, but it's just an unnecessary battle that I will be facing here shortly. I feel overwhelmed and completely stressed with this load on my plate.

My priority is my son's health, so a nice, clean place to live is essential.

However, if his dad really did file, I know that is going to be a timely matter and might prevent me from moving due to finances.

Any advice or help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. My son is almost three and I can't imagine the pain you are going through! Are you near family who could help you care for your son that you trust? If so is it at all possible to move in with family for a while so you and your son can spend as much time together as possible? Also, is his daddy able or willing to help pay for his treatments? I'm sure he's going through a lot with knowing his son has cancer too and he might be able to help you both during this time. You need support ♥
