i think so ....my 6 month old son had a low grade fever for about a week and he's teething...i just gave him tylenol and he's fine...except for the constant drooling and biting everything in sight...

It's most likely teething. If you have both Motrin and Tylenol, they can be used together if you have to. (Motrin at 8 then Tylenol a few hours later, etc.) The first years makes a star shaped teether with textured edges that vibrates when baby bites on it. My son went through 4! Walmart sells it in the baby section. Natural vanilla extract can help with the pain - kind of like scotch rubbed on the gums, the flavor won't do it tho...has to be the extract.

Yup, probably. My daughter had a fever like that when she was only 2 or 3 months old from teething. Happens all the time. Tylenol would work to bring it down. Or putting your child in less clothing could help.

My son would get low grade fevers sometimes during teething too. Some medical professionals don't think there is a correlation....but there has to be because every parent talks about this. With fevers, especially low grade, it's best to just watch your child and monitor their behavior. I only give Motrin or Tylenol if my son seems like he is in pain or uncomfortable. About the ear infections...my mom swears that I got one every time I cut a tooth, but my son hasn't ever had and ear infection ever.

yea it could very likely be teethng , keep and eye on the fever though if its get any higher take him to the doctor he could have a ear infection that what happened with my sons 2 top teeth he had got and ear infection when they started to cut and we thought he had the low grade fever b.c of it until it turned higher also if the tylenol doesnt work like it doesnt for mine give him motrin

Yes. it's most likely due to teething. Luke warm bath and possible a little Tylenol(if you're medicating)
