I really need advice. i dont have a computer yet. i have an 11y old girl who constantly gets in trouble at school. her behavior and lack of effort in her academic performance has me wondering about homeschooling her. since I haven't been able to work i want to work from home. it would give me flexibility and more time to focus on her without having to be worried financially. does anyone know how much the school curriculum is? and can you work from home without a computer? please someone help!!!!!!!!

You can certainly work from home without a computer. It really depends on what you do. I know people who cater or who make desserts for restaurants from their home. I know people who teach classes in their home.

It's possible to home school very cheaply. Some school boards have a lot of resources and support for you to follow their curriculum independently. You should get in touch with some local home schoolers for ideas about what's available in your area.

Working from home and home schooling though, you may want to work on getting a computer. Even if it isn't essential it will make things easier. We don't have a regular phone or a tv because we just use the computer.
