I'm a mommy for the first time and super excited! The only thing is that when I became pregnant, I lost touch with most of my friends, because I really didn't have much in common with them, as to them not having children and so on. I'm desperate to find other mommies that I can talk to, because my boyfriend is not cutting it?! What can I do or where could I go to meet other moms?

where do you live? I would google local mom sites and see what comes up. Around here we have Cincymoms. There's moms-like-me too. Try that. Also, don't give up on your old friends. I did this and most of them now are either pregnant or had a kid so we are having all kinds of date nights!!! It's great to reconnect with them.

The park is great and when your baby gets a little older he will break the ice for you and run up to other kids. Go online and find a local mommys group (this is hard because usually these mommies are older but its better to just go and get a little socialization for you and your baby) Church is also a great place!
