I had the same thing happen after my fist child. I bled for about like 8 weeks after I gave birth. You normally dont stop bleeding for at least 6 weeks. So thats probably all it if. But if it doesnt after about 7 weeks after giving birth than you should definately go back to your doctor.

Dont worry girl. I bled for 4weeks straight after having my son had a weeks break and then when he was 5weeks old i came on my 1st period 4 2weeks and sincce then ive had them every month around the same date! and i breastfeed so all that rubbish that breastfeeding stops your periods for 6months it didnt do that 4 me!!

I had a natural chiald birth and I bleed abunch and for a few weeks at a time. Your body is getting back in the grove of minstrating and your period will not be normal for up to a year. Now since this is your secon baby your ody might just need to take time to bounce back. If you still feel off about it talk with your Dr. He/She will know you better than any of us and help you make a good plan:) Good luck and enjoy that baby:)

I had that same problem I stopped bleeding for a little bit and started again bright red and my Dr told me it wasnt a period it was still me bleeding from birth and because i had a c-section in stead of natural he told me i could bleed for 6-7 weeks so i wouldnt be alarmed.
