First Time Mom Nerves

I don't know how to ease some of the nerves over my pregnancy. I have a lot of worries, mostly about miscarriage or finding out something is wrong with the baby, and finding it increasingly hard to sleep. Since my husband was adopted, we don't know anything currently about what the baby could be at risk for on his side of the family. I know all the stress can't be good either, so any advice on how to calm down? My first prenatal appointment isn't until October 7th, so it's a bit of a waiting game right now! lol

I understand your nerves, it's seems to be that way with every pregnancy but more with the first.
You're right when you say that the stress isn't food for you or your baby, and I know that it's hard to try and stay calm...but that is exactly what you need to do. Just think about the good things that will come along with having thag beautiful baby. Like holding him/her, the kisses, rhe cute cloths, all the milestones....that will make you feel a little less stressed out. And DO NOT feel bad about talking to your doc about all your feelings at your OB visit. Best of luck and congrats!! :-)
