I am going on 7 weeks now, but last week on my first visit they did an ultrasound and saw the gestational sac, but no baby. Is it normal, has anyone been through this and should I be worried? They had scheduled an appointment again to go back in 2 weeks to see how my pregnancy is going. Please let me know if any of you has been through this and should I be worried.

Today I went in for my 2nd ultrasound and I'm happy to say my little peanut is healthy and growing. I heard and saw heartbeats. :) thanks you all for responding and keeping my mind right... Lol..

This happened to me as well, but we found out that it was due to my weird ovulation so I was not actually 7 weeks. However, to be perfectly honest it could be a whole slew of things. Just keep your chin up and don't worry till after your next ultrasound or if you start having bright red bleeds x good luck!

sometimes the baby is to small so its only like a dot showing that their is a baby because your just now going on 7 weeks , but when you go back you will almost 10 weeks so you will see a small little baby . i would say dont panic unless your next one doesnt show a baby , this is normal its ok . it happens sometimes . just remember at this time your lil one is very small .
