I want to get other mothers opinion regarding the "SWINE" flu shot for their children ages 1 and 4?

My Husband and I have decided that we are not giving our 6 year old and 2 year old the H1N1 vaccine. We are not comfortable with the lack of information about the vaccine also we had talked to our pediatrician. He is very skeptical of the shot at this moment.he is not even giving his kids the vaccine. That tells me alot!

Good luck on your decision!

Are the kids in daycare/preschool, or around kids that are? Are you around any school age kids? Are you in school, or do you work in the health care field? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then it would probably be a good idea because those categories are at mosk risk of not only getting the swine flu, but are also at risk for spreading it as well.

my daughter will be 2 in dec. last may she had a mild case of the swine flu. i have never been so scaried in my entire life. she was so sick that she couldn't even left her head to be sick, she would just lay in her own vomit... the hospital had to catherize her and she didn't even move when they did it or when they drew blood or put an iv in. if i could get it for her i would... i have never been so scaried in my entire life!!!!!
