If you are not suppose to give your baby milk before the age of 12 months, can you give them foods that have milk in them?

I never withheld any foods that had milk in them. Cheese was one of our kids fav. foods. It never bothered them. I would suggest giving new foods in moderate amounts.

i have found that not giving bub something untill a certain age can increase the risk of alergies just as much as givin it too soon. both my son started havin cow's milk in their bottles around 8mths. i normally make up the usual amount of formula n then add about 20mls of cows milk, gradually reducing formula and increasing cows milk each mth. that way u dont introduce something into their system to quickly. both my sons also had peanut butter from around 6mths, same deal, just a tiny amount every now n then gradually increasing over time. neither of my sons have any alergies, skin conditions or anything... but remember this wont work for all, so keep an eye on bub after givin anything new.... good luck!

Yes that is fine. And if you think about it, formula is milk based. Unless you get the soy based. Your baby is adorable!
