Fork in Outlet.

Dame life is just way to short an idk if i can handle hering about any more deaths after this, Last night my 1year old Maylyn desided to stick a mettle fork in a outlet an the scaryest thing is, Is that i could of lost her last night lucky someone was watching over her because she didnt get hurt or electercuted, Her dad was making her something to eat when she made that attemp an he walked into the room just in time but when he went to take it from her it was all most to late thankfully she didnt get hurt or anything the foke was slightly meltted but thank god she is ok, I really need some advice here because Maylyn will be 2 this november an its starting to become more dificult keeping her from geting into everything she is exstreamly smart an cerious to anything an everything around her its starting to become a challenge... Please feel free to write whatever advice you have down bellow...

Besides the cheap plastic outlet protectors that you "plug into" the outlet, there are outlet covers that replace the existing cover and you have to slide a piece of the cover out of the way to plug something in. When that thing is unplugged, the cover immediately slides back over the holes. They also make covers that go over things that are plugged in so that they can't be unplugged. Definitely check into those.

They have socket covers so the children can't stick anything in them. Walmart target K Mart etc. sells them.
