mashed bananna and avacado is good for babies from 4 months onwards also kumera amnd pumpkin mashed are good for little ones made to a pured consistancy. Also pured apples and pears mixed with baby rice and formula or breast milk are great 2.

You'll want to be careful with fruits, they can cause bad diaper rash if you introduce them too early.

my son is 5 months and i just tried rice cereal for the last couple weeks but he hates so i mix a bit of banana or whatever into it and he loves it!

they make a sort of mesh like feeder that you can put solid foods into like apples and bananas just twist the top off and put the food in he can chew on it as if it were a teether but get the added affects of the fruit or veggie...i also put ice chips in it when my daughter was having some tooth pain...I found mine at the local wal-mart near the sippy cups and kids plates...good luck!

Every baby is different. I started my son on fruits and veggies and cereal and oatmeal at 4 months old. I did cereal and fruit in the am and Oatmeal with veggies in the pm. Start out with small amounts and he will make faces and spit a lot out because he is not used to the texture or taste. Also, only try one fruit or veggie every 3 days so that you can make sure he does not have any allergies to them.

Good luck!!

do the cereal for a couple of weeks and then start on the veggies. Be prepared for a change in his diaper lol. My daughter was 4 and a half months old when we started her on baby food. She loved it. Just remember to do one at a time and space it out (usually 3 days) to check for allergies.

I started feeding my 4 month old fruits and veggies at 8 weeks. Every baby is different, it depends on the baby. I tried veggies first cause I was told that if you give them fruit first they acquire a sweet tooth. I also stuck with one kind of whatever I gave him for a few days just to make sure he wasn't allergic. My son eats everything. He especially likes yogurt.

Be careful with this post a lot of moms are gonna yell and say wait 6 months cause that's what "the book" says. You gotta listen to yourself and your baby. Ask the doctor too, they give good advice .

Good luck!!!
