I run a daycare and some of the children that come to me have a few issues. They are sweet kids but a couple have speech issues and one has a behavior issue. I spoke to the parents regarding the speech issue and her reply was I don't feel like it. I guess life has her stressed out and she doesn't feel like taking her children to speech therapy. The other mother is emotionally void when it comes to her child and his behavior. The child craves attention which he is not getting at home causing issues in daycare. How do I get them involved? How can I get parents to take a real interest in their children?

i would try sitting them down and explaining to them the serious outcomes of the situations if they do not get these things cheched out. make them care. in the meantime do things yourself to try to help the baby
