I have had my iud in for a year now and its been "ok" up until last month when i missed my period and now its been almost two.months since i had it last.. I am really regular! and only time i have ever missed my period was when i got pregnant with my first.. i am so sooscared of being pregnant because my baby is only about to be 2 which isnt too bad but this wasnt planned obviously since i have an iud i obviously want to wait! i took 4 pregnancy tests (clearblue ones and the equate ones from walmart) and nothing they say negative! i went to the doctor to get another urine pregnancy test and negative again but i dont know if my mind is playinh tricks on me or what because i feel pregnant!! when i lay on my stomach it hurts! just when i was pregnant with my first ... And i believe im having what may be "morning sickness" since i feel an urge to throw up in the mornings! :( i mean, allll the symptoms are there but tests say negative! i have an appointment for a blood test tody but i want to know if this has happened to anyone else??? PLEASEEEE RESPOND i am freaking out! :(

I have the same thing you do the bar in your arm right?. Had it for over a year and I haven't had my period for 3 months now. Some spotting and cramping but that's it. I kinda feel the same way you do. All but the throwing up part. And sometimes I feel like there is something moving inside me.

Yes i agree its hard to be on any birth control because you dont know how your body will react or what it will do.. i had my blood test done today and i am so very anxiously waiting for that call tomorrow telling me my results! i feel very pregnant and if i am i may be like probably around 2 months or so.. but i lay on my stomach and ot hurts ... maybe its my imaginstion playing tricks on me but because i have the iud in ..id rather know whether i am or not.. either way i am going to take the iud out and just go back to plain old condoms l lol! i will keep you updated with my results :). .and thank you for your help!

well i can tell u that me and alot of people i know are on the mirena and we all happen to have the same symptoms. we always feel pregnant. ever since i got on the mirena i take a pregnancy test every month because either my husband or i think im pregnant . i been doing this for almost two years already . unless like others i never got a period at all. then 2 months ago started getting it , but not like a period. i seriously thought i was pregnant for sure. so did my doc. turns out i got ovarian cysts and since i was on the mirena my body was mimicking pregnancy . pluson the other hand as well, my sister inlaw got pregnant on the mirena. she went to the docs for some bad nausea and weight gain ,,.. the docs did a test found out she was pregnant. ordered an emergency ultra sound and they couldnt even see the mirena at all. thankfully the baby did not grow in the tube. and she found out she was 6months pregnant. .. the mirena scares me to but what else can u do but becarful in every way possiable.
