I understand exactly how you feel. I returned to work when my baby boy was just 10 weeks old. That first day is definately the hardest. Bring a picture and anything that makes you feel closer to your baby. I work on the computer so I put videos of my baby on the computer and watched them over and over again any chance I got. My son is 6 months old now and I still got and see him every day for lunch it just makes me feel better to see him it helps me get through the rest of the day. I cried for the last couple weeks that I was home. It broke my heart to leave him, but it really makes you cherish every second you get to spend with them. Good luck and I feel your pain.

Try to remember that you are doing it for your new family. Make sure to tell whoever is watching her all the things she likes. Don't be afraid to call and check on the baby whenever you need to. If you have someone watching them that can bring the baby to you on your lunch break that seems to make it a little easier. Hang in there it will be hard for awhile but it will get better.
