I currently have a 2 year old daughter and i am expecting my second child on dec 25th. I am very worries that my daughter(GRace) is going to be very jealous of the new baby when he/she arrives. She has been the focus of all my attention since the moment since she was born. Any advice

just try and include her,get her a present that will keep her happy and occupied from the baby wrap it up and say your baby brother/sister has got this for you.thats what i did with mine and he loves her to bits and keeps telling me that his sister got him that present.

Hi Jocelyn. my advice would be to include your daughter in the whole process as much as possible. let her know that she is going to be an important part of the whole thing. also, you could buy a little present from the new baby for the baby to 'give' her when she's born. hope this helps :)

You won't forget about her.. I had my two year old sing songs to my belly when I was pregnant with my second one. Then when he was born my first felt like he could help me when I was trying to put #2 to sleep. Make sure that Grace knows you need her help with the new baby. Siblings love it when mom needs their help with the new babies.
