I am back to work now after having my son, which I've been back 7 months now. I am finding it very difficault leaving my son, I feel someone is raising my son and I am missing my time with him, the weekends just aren't long enough- any ideas of what I could do to cope?

Thank you, VERY good suggestions... it's actually been told to me before and I am working on making it work, it's hard as I have a husband that leaves the house very early in the morning so I have to get up early to be ready for work by the time my son gets up (which varies) and to get up earlier I don't think I could do it but in the evenings I've been really trying to spend more QUALITY time with him, I've come to realize now that the cleaning can wait and the clothes can wait... it's still hard though!

for some families having 2 incomes is just a reality.it has to happen.

i COMPLETELY understand what youre going through.its hard.

i think making the most of your time together is all you can really do. it might sound weird(or seem difficult at first),but maybe waking up just half and hour earlier in the morning would help. yall wont feel so rushed and you can take things at a slower pace to get ready in the mornings. that way yall can talk a little more, and play a little more.

if more time in the mornings doesnt work, then designate 30min in the evening to play and read books together(quality time).

youre not alone in feeling this. good luck with a solution!
