My daughter loves to headbutt. She can be happy, sad, angry, or even just to be funny (to her, anyway). It doesn't matter. And I don't mean gentle headbutting. It kind of worries me, and I don't know what to do. Does anyone else have a child who does this???

My son is two and he butt's my head pretty hard mostly for fun. None of my four kids did that, but his Docter does say it's though, is it really, I wonder?

My son is 10 months old and he head butts all the time. He thinks it is super funny. If I tell him to stop it he laughs at me because he thinks its funny. Wish i could help but I have the same problem.

yeah my 14 month head butts... there is really nothing u can do at that age, they dont know right from wrong so just let her go (obviously dont let her hurt herslf) and she will grow out of it. Just dont make a big thing about it, ignore it and she will get over it because she isnt getting a reaction from u!

Thank you. She's only ten months old though, so if I pretend to be in pain, she laughs.

My son started to headbutt no matter what too and it hurts!! I tried to talk to him and explain it to him nicely, scold him, i even tried doing it back but nothing worked until he got me really good on my nose and it hurt so bad i had to cry. This startled him and he started crying and hugged me and he hasnt done it since. Maybe you can pretend that it really really hurt you and maybe that will help...wish you luck!!
