In California it's called medi-cal and they cover the pregnancy and after. You might qualify for healthy family after but medi-cal covers everything.

Have you tried Medicaid? If you dont have a big income and are pregnant, you should qualify. I live in KY but I know that every hospital here has financial help if your not able to get insurance. My hubby has a lung disease and we have found a hospital that the financial services cover 100% of the cost of his medical bills. We are really blessed as they are expensive. But look up Medicaid, its funded by the state (I assume CA also has it) and will cover 100% of costs of pregnancy related health care. I had it, and it covered up till I got my post birth 6wk check up

God Bless, Hope you the best!
