Ladies this is my 3rd kid, currently I am 39wks and 6days 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. I'm contracting every 25 min but its not enough to induce me. Sleep is no longer an option since I'm in so much pain. Plus yesterday I had an ultrasound and my baby is already 7lbs 8oz my first two kids were only 5lbs 6 or 7oz. I can feel my body saying ok its time for him to get out yet need to find a way to speed up these contractions. I've started to walk a mile crying in pain because my feet are so swollen by the time I'm done. Yet that is not helping.
Has anyone else been in this position?
If so how did you deal?
Also does anyone know how to seriously get your contractions closer together?

I also found squatting helped to get baby down. You need the baby to put pressure on your cervix to get labor started so let gravity do it's job. Just make sure you hold onto something so you can get back up. I used to squat for a while in the shower each day with my 3rd.

Michelle and Stephanie thank you so much for the advice. Today I had the baby. Unfortunately i had to wait 2 weeks but instead of a boy as we thought we have a beautiful baby girl. And Michelle the squats is what seriously took me over the edge, thank you. Thank you both for the advice I truely appreciate this site and great mothers like you two.

Thanks stephanie,
I'm trying it just hard when your waddle is so big and your feet are 2x their normal size. But thanks for the advice. Appreciate it.
