Oh by the way I never used pull ups either. In my opinion I feel they are to much like a diaper, and give some kids the go ahead of wetting themselves. I went straight to panties, b/c no one likes being in wet panties, so I think it leads to less accidents.

In my opinion, being there just 3 months ago. I would let her come around to it, don't push her. My daughter is very independent and I knew that she knew how to use the potty, but it had to be when she was ready. Is she going to preschool next year, b/c mine is and I kept reminder her that in preschool you have to wear big girl panties. Sometimes she would say "well I don't want to go to preschool", and I would just say "ok" , I wouldn't sit there and try to change her mind. So just two months ago she decided she wanted to wear big girl panties and she just started going on the potty, she hardly has any accidents, and it's like she has been doing it for years.  I think the less deal you make of it the more they will come around to wanting to do it. Just my opinion, and this is how it worked for my and my daughter will be three in May. Good luck, she'll get it.

Dont push her too much, maybe bring her to the potty when u go and then tell her its her turn... Or bring her tto pick out special undies.... Make it a non-stressful experience!

This is similar to how it happened with my first girl. I tried to get her interested for ages, but she is stubborn. Then one day we were at a playgroup and she heard a little girl talking to her mother in the stall next to us. The next day she asked to wear her big girl pants and started using the potty. She was 2yrs and 8mths and trained herself within 2wks. Hardly any accidents or bed wetting.

Now my 2yr and 4mth old girl will not train. I really, really want her trained. Diapers are giving her rashes and all. She is very stubborn also, so I have no real plan in place. I'm putting her in pants here and there and hoping she catches on. We have not had anything done on the potty :(

Thank you. Yeah she starts preschool this year in september and thats why im worrid because shes got to learn before then but your advice has bin very helpfull. Iv already made the mistake of pullups. Maybe I should just stop using them. Im going to keep trying anyway without pushing her and see how we go. Thank you again xxxx
