Help, my son developed a weird rash!

hi, I've been trying to get rid of this for a little while now and apparently not even polysporin can get rid of it :-0!! It's a clean round circle on either but cheek. one about an inch and the other 1/4" in size. 2 days ago 2 more little tiny circles showed up right beside each other on his upper right thigh. I'm at a loss what this could be. it does not look like a regular rash at all. anyone know what to do?

I agree if its spreading and has been there awhile take him to the doctors to get checked out, but i find Paw Paw ointment helps alot of thing always handy to have in your handbag. but it is definatly good for rashes!

You could try vaginal cream, it is the only thing that seems to work for my daugthers rash but if it doesn't clear you should rather take your child to the doctor.

It doesn't sound like it...but maybe ring worm? Also, has he had his vaccinations recently? My daughter got HORRIBLE hive/mosquito bite looking rash from her thighs up to her hair, but it all started in her diaper area, it was a reaction to one of her vaccines. When in doubt, take them to the doctor!!!

Althought I can't help with the specific rash as I also have no idea what it could be I suggest you him to see a doctor if the rash has been there longer than 3 days. My 2yr old step daughter developed a strange rash all over her body. They were tiny little red spots on her arms legs and belly but they werent itching her or causing her any discomfort...she just looked very spotty! We rang the healthcare hotline and they said it could be a viral rash that would naturally spread but should disappear within 3 days. If it didn't disappear or if she developed any other symptoms such as a fever, constipation or the runs etc. to take her to see a doctor. Hopefully they will be able to help you more!! Best of luck!
