my son just turned 1 and I'm trying to wean him off the breast. He does drink out of cups and drinks cows milk now but he still wants to nurse in the morning and at night time. I have no idea how to stop breast feeding. Advice would be amazing! Thanks so much

I'll be honest I would like a little bit of freedom . My son has been exclusively breastfeed. He has never taken a bottle and is a total mamas boy ( which I love).i can't remember the last time me and my hubby had alone time. I'm also a SAHM! Our son is our pride and joy but as a couple we still need to spend one on one time every once in a while. I guess I also have been feeling pressured by others. You have no idea how many times people have said "your STILL breastfeeding?!" Like its some kind of weird thing. The doctors say it's best to BF until a year so why does it get treated like a weird thing. Also I am going to Jamaica for a week in December and unfortunately lil man can't go and thank you little miss I appreciate the advice

Is there a specific reason you want to stop BFing? Just don't want you to feel pressured to stop. Keep going if you want to, and he wants to. Other wise, up his food intake during the daytime. Ween him off of either am or pm feedings for a week or 2 and then start eliminating the next one. Good luck.
