My son is 9 months old almost 10 months and he recentally started daycare and he goes every day monday through friday. The teachers have all said he is doing great and he even tells me bye bye and waves when i leave. He seems to love it but for some reason this week (his 2nd week) he seems a little to excited to see me he literally was climbing up my pants legs when i got there to get him. when i put him in the car he was almost asleep when we got home i tried to lay him down and it was a no go. he did take a nap when we went out about 30 minutes later once we got him home though he did nothing but scream for hours. and he was so tired there was one point where he would be asleep and screaming. i need someone to give me advice on what to do or how to handle this.. hes never acted like this before. he has always napped easily. .

Hmm that's hard. I know I would have a hard time with that too. My daughter is 81/2 months old and she sleeps well too. But I'm thinking maybe your son is beginning to know how to try and get you to respond a certain way to his behavior. Maybe if he does start screaming when you try and put him down for a nap, just tell him you love him, and lay him down and let him cry, as long as you know there's no other reason for him to be crying. And also, he could just be over-tired, and that is why he is screaming. I know my daughter when she is really over-tired gets extra clingy and cries and screams more when I put her down for a nap. Maybe try and stick to a consistent schedule for a couple weeks and put him down when you're home before he is too tired. And since he recently started daycare, his tiredness could be finally catching up to him now. Daycare could be a place where he plays more and has more stimulation, and therefore overwhelms him more. Anyway, hope this helps a little!
