Hi ladies, I'm new here. I am a mom of a 4yr old boy. This question isn't parenting related but I thought I could get some good honest suggestions here. I am getting married July 25 and I have a reception site but no wedding ceremony site. I want an outdoor wedding, and someplace really neat looking. Not a traditional wedding, and not really fancy. I live in washington, pa. Any suggestions??? Thank you in advance!!!

One more thing, before we found our spot that we got married, we pretty much just started out by driving all over the place looking for nice yards that any place might have. You never know what you might find

The reception site does not have a large enough yard for the wedding, it is a little banquet hall in my city. I do have someone to marry us though!!! :) I am trying to look into the parks, but it is so hard to get ahold of anyone in the offices. Thanks for the reply.

I don't know of any specific places to get married there because I am from WI. But I would highly suggest checking out local parks and anywhere that has a gazebo that they are willing to let you use or rent. I had an outdoor wedding myself last July at a City Park that had a nice gazebo and enough space for seating. Also, depending on where your reception is, some hotels or other reception sites have a big enough yard to just do it there and you could rent or buy an arch or something to get married under. The possibilities are endless and most of the time very inexpensive for outdoor weddings. But, I do hope you at least have someone to marry the two of you?!
