I'm not really a mum on here I am only 16 years of age. Some mums are talking about there kids not being able to walk as they have a formal of cp. I too have cp I have spastic diaplisha. ( exusse me spelling). it only effects the right hand side of my body. If your worried about you child's walking don't worry to much I started to walk when I was 4-5 but I used my user body to help pull me up. There is help for people with this disability. When I was 12 I had surgery on my right leg where they realined my leg. I had to do exercises for 6-8 weeks while I was in plaster cast and had to learn to walk all over again. Now I can walk straight I still have back ache but if you do hot bath cold bath it relaxes the muscles. If you are worried about your child having weight problems also, if you think they are too skinny, it is because we have to use up more energy. No matter how much you eat. When I was 12 I only weighed 4 stone. Since I had surgery I am now a healthy 8 and a half stone. I recommend sighning up with the orthopaedic hospital in London stanmore. For those who already don't go there. All depends what type you have sorry if ice be a burden. Let me no if I was helpful :)
