This may sound weird, but my daughter started when she started daycare and she saw the older kids using the potty. I think she wanted to fit in. Maybe as well as seeing you go and knowing this is what mommy does...if there are other GIRL siblings or family that she idolizes it might help for them to get involved in the encouragement. I only suggest this if the kids are like under 5...you don't want to make this too weird:)

I have two daughters so I am all too familiar with this stage. I would recommed a reward system. Enforce potty training in a positive way and I'm sure she'll get the hang of it. Dont give up. Sometimes they just need a friendly push. Turn it into a wonderful experience vs. a frustrating one. Good luck!

I went cold turkey with my daughter. She didnt use the potty at all until I took away her nappy and she hated being wet and getting changed all the time. This was the month she turned 2. She was potty trained in a week and dry at night after 3 weeks (I still used a nappy at night but they were always dry after a couple of weeks so we stopped)

Try not to push her, just work with her to find a way to make it exciting for her. Maybe buy her some stickers and every time she uses the potty, let her decorate it with a sticker. Let her come to the bathroom with you when you go and get her to sit on her potty at the same time because then she will be excited to be a big girl like mommy. Take her to the store and let her pick out panties to buy and tell her that once she uses the potty, she can wear them during the day. Just a few ideas. Hope they help!

is she ready yet? in germany (where i'm from) it's recommended to try when the toddler actually lets you know they are about to pee or poo which is usually round 3 years! and always try in summer time. you will be able to tell that she is ready she'll start hiding at first then telling you she did it 3rd stage is them telling you that they are actually doing it and the 4th stage (that's when you start potty training) they tell you they are about to do it. there is no point starting before your little one actually knows that she needs the toilet. i know mums did it successfully before 3 years but it involves a lot more hassle and is very frustrating for the both of you good luck
