Haidee, cook some extra of whatever your having every now and then and chuck it in the freezer. Then, when your partner is on night shift you can whip it out and give it to her. My partner also works night shift so I know how you feel!

What is your 15 month old eating, it seams like you should be able to give her what ever you have for dinner on most nights. Pasta dishes freeze well and can be cheap.
