my name is ashley im 23 with 3 and 4 yr old boys. im expecting in october and we both hope its a girl. how do i get my 3yr to sleep in his own room/bed and not in my room next to me on his toddler matress. his brother has always been a great sleeper!

What the other mother wrote is a good thought. If that doesn't work I would explain the fact that he is becoming an amazing "big boy" and big boys sleep in their own rooms, and soon he will too. You could also slowly, night by night, move the mattress farther away from you so he he gets used to it. Then by the time the mattress is at your doorway the transition to his own room will be much easier. Good luck with this!

Have you thought about putting the 3 and 4yr olds into the same room?, i have my 6,4 and 2yr ols in one room and they love it sure some nights can be a bit chaotic when they are all having a little talk to each other but its great ive never had any of the usual night time issues like monsters under the bed or being scared of the dark as the know their brother and sister are right there with them
