Also look into natural supplements for her as well. And look into chiropractic care too. Google the information and several articles will come up. I am a holistic person and try to find natural remedies before relying on western medicine. Just a thought.

I have a close friend of mine who's son was diagnosed fairly early as well and the therapy has made a world of difference! Trust in your therapists and try to find support groups of other moms with the autistic children. You will be surprised of how many other people need support as well. You will be fine and so will your daughter!

Thank you! She has a speech & occupational therapist now. I feel sad about it because she cant communicate like normal 3yr olds but in the other hand I have heard that autistic children are very smart! So that gives me hope, she starts pre-k next week so I am very excited about her learning,& being around more children like her. I just never thought in a million yrs I would be at this point. I knew about Autism from watching tv & the news you just never think it would be you in the same situation.

Hello Tiara, I am so sorry to hear about your daughter and about you feeling all alone. Don't look at the daignosis as devastating but a blessing. You found out early and can start doiong things to better handle your daughter. Have you started any kind of therapy? That can help a lot and also think about counseling. Autistic children are very very intelligent and bright! Be encouraged!
