Hi. I have a pussy open sore that had developed on my c-section scar. It had been 11 yrs since my last incision, I have had 3 c-sections and 1 laporodomy which was 20 yrs ago. My first c-section was an emergency one so I have the vertical incision. After each surgery I always had the same spot that had trouble healing. Over the last few months I've been very tired, feverish off.and on. But this spot started becoming painful from deep inside and had a pulling sensation. I have had many laporoscopy's many years ago for sever endometriosis. But the last 5 weeks this spot became red, very tender, and had a visible puss pocket for several days until overnight 4 weeks ago it opened up. It will not heal and continues to grow. Put the pain is still there. Like being pulled from the inside. Could this be scar tissue.from endometriosis? I have a history of sever internal scar tissue, I have a calcified cyst on my right ovary, which has been there for yrs. My organs have had to be detached from one another on a few occasions. But this open sore had me worried. But with no insurance and low income I can't afford to go to a OB/GYN What could it be??

I had this same problem, not as on going but none the less sounds very similar. My ob at that time said it was MRSA he called it (a hoped up staff infection) I now with no insurance and lower income would visit the ER just incase. I hope for your sake that it isn't as severe as MRSA b/c once u have it you'll get it again at some point. Hope this gets better for you!

Went to my family Dr 2 days ago. He is referring me back to my old OB/GYN Dr. from 9 yrs ago. (yrs it's been that long since I've been to a gyno) He put me on antibiotics, antibiotic ointment for the lesion. Took blood cuz I've also gained 20lbs in 5 mths. I felt very dismissed by him. Just took a quick look, pushed around on my tummy and said "You have infection and you need antibiotics" Really?? No S@#t. I know this. But from WHAT?? He said I just need meds and go see a OB/GYN. He also mentioned Diabetes, Thyroid, and kidney failure. WOW!! So I'm anxiously waiting on blood work tests. And my gyno referral. That is the Dr I need.!!! I just feel it's all female related! Keep you posted.

Carrie that's the one word I'm afraid to hear. I'm going to my Family Dr today, at least get on antibiotics. I'm also developing bruising on my lower back and severe pain directly behind where that spot is. My stomach is so swollen and hurts. I look 6mths pregnant. But no, no way I am. Hopefully get answer today.
