Hi ,I'm a mum of 2 girls and now have the joy of a 5 month old son...the experience is totally different and while pregnant I went through my mum battling lung cancer she sadly lost her battle when he was 2 months old ...my worry is he seems very highly strung... Seems to have a few short naps in the day ,but when hes awake he's so active and gets worked up ,he hate sitting down and constantly wants to be up on his feet ...is this normal I'm worried all my stress while pregnant has had a negative affect ....

There is no problem, all babies are different. If he can sit up and hold his head very well by himself you could try getting him a walker, if his legs are too short put a pillow there that he can stand on, or you could also try a jonny jump up, it was my life saver with my son, he was and still is a hyper little guy. Everything will be just fine, it is completely normal to be stressed, especially in your situation with 3 little ones to take care of. Maybe it would help your stress level if you just got out one day by yourself, no kids, and pamper yourself a little.

Thanks for the response..he has been so much better today ...I'm sure he is teething ,much calmer and content ..he is so different than when my girls were babies much more emotional...yes he has a walker but he doesn't stay in it for long ,will definitely try the pillow idea for his feet might like it more then...I just worry sometimes ,but I have family who support which is good ,just have bad days when I can't go and put the world to rights with my mum...Thankyou for your help..x
