I am looking for some ideas on what to feed my 1 yrs old! I am probably the worst cook in the world, and I am not in the states, so I will have to get my things from here in Greece. Any good ideas would be great...easy helps too..... so far he eats just about everything we eat, but like I said we eat out alot and I want to start cooking good meals for him at home. I know I am a horrible person. Please help me! Thank you all!!!

I looked up "baby food recipes" on google and i got lots of food ideas for my 8 month old.... a lot of the recipes have you make the the food and then just blend the food afterwards... so you could just cook the food and then cut it up small....
a lot of the recipes included food that should be available everywhere.... like chicken, beef, pork, potatoes, rice, veggies, fruit, cheese....
what i do is take a few hours make a big batch of food and then freeze in on a cookie sheet in meal size portions. once frozen i just store the food in freezer bags and i'm set for about a month.

Grilled cheese.Anyone can make that!!Will he eat veggies? I gave my daughter cooked green beans and carrots...out of a can or frozen. She never was picky tho.So long as u give him milk and stay away from the fried foods u should be doing ok.I dont know what they sell in Greece, but the Gerber Graduates line of meals and snacks have been great to have for us.Also if u can take the mess, try some cooked pasta with a little bit of tomato sauce...just enough to flavor it.My girl likes crackers or apples with a little bit of peanut butter.Make sure u watch him eat if u give him that tho.Good luck in Greece! :)

I made veggie burgers the other night which were really easy. You just put a ton a veggies in a food processor and then saute them. I used garbanzo beans (which I put in the food processor), eggs, and flour to hold it all together and seasoned it with cumin, pepper, and tabasco. It was really simple. I pan fried them and once they cooled froze them so I can take one or two out and reheat them for our 14 month old. They were really easy and healthy. You can find recipes online if your not ready to dive on in and make one up.
