Could it be a growth spurt? That's when my rugrats get all out of wack. My trick: an evening walk, hold off an evening nap, play and make him laugh and giggle. (It wears them down) give him a filling snack, a warm bath, Hope this helps!

Unless you are really, extraordinarily noisy I don't think that has anything to do with it honestly. We co-sleep and my daughter started sleeping through the night at 6 months, I think it might make you sleep better because you may not hear him, but not necessarily him.

He could be going through a growth spurt and need the extra calories. At 10 months he may need some more solids in his diet or closer to bedtime also. Like someone else said ask your son's doc about it.

There is a formula I saw depending on what your child take right now. Its by enfamil its for bedtime only. The formula is thicker so it will keep babys tummy fuller longer and sleep longer at night time here is a link for the formula so you can read up on it. http://www.enfamil.com/app/iwp/enfamil/c...

I would also talk to your dr first b4 giving it to your son. I hope this helps! Good Luck!

i think it depends on your kids. my son is 18 months old and still wakes at 3-4 am then lays down and goes back to sleep. but my friends son goes to sleep early and wakes early to eat in the morning. my son is the opposite, he stays up until around 10 pm and sleeps until around 9 am now. try a different routine? my son does better if feed him dinner and then give him a nice hot bath before he goes to bed.

Do you give your son cereal in with his formula?? It will keep him fuller longer. I fed it to my babys in the morning then made a thick cereal bottle at dinner.

I have read that from 6 months on babies that sleep in the same room as their parents will wake more often. Maybe try his own room. It probably won't be an easy transition, but persist for a while. Also make sure he is going to bed awake and putting himself off to sleep - then when he wakes in the night he knows how to get back to sleep himself.

But do remember too that some babies still need a night feed up to 12 months of age. But perhaps try changing his night bottle to water over time if you are really keen to eliminate it.

Good luck!
