High Risk

I'm a high risk pregnancy and just got a cerclage placed for the first time. I'm 14 weeks and just waiting on God to meet our beautiful angel.

Quoting Jamie:

I don't know what a cerclage is but I will pray that all goes well for you.

A cerclage is where the doctor puts a stitch in the cervix to keep it closed during pregnancy for woman who have an incompitant cervix which is a cervix that opens from the pressure of the baby before the baby is term and needs the stitch to keep the cervix closed until the baby is either full term or far enough along to survive.

I had one of those with my daughter who is now almost 5 months old. I lost 3 babies before they found out what was causing it. I know what you are going through and all I can tell you is to try not to stress to much and take it easy. I was on bed rest alot the doctor would take me off then I would start having contractions so I would be put back on. I did everything the doctor told me and at one point put myself back on bed rest just because I felt in my gut I needed to. Listen to your doctor and your own body and you will be holding your beautiful baby before you know it. Good luck.

my best advice would be to pray about it. If God has blessed you to carry the baby then he will make sure the baby will be okay. Just make sure you do everything the doctors tell you to and dont stress. That will just put more stress on the baby. Relax and try to enjoy ur pregnancy
