Have you tried a new toy that he would like? Sometimes toys they really like distract them. You can buy him a Disney toy, like Mickey Mouse, and then try with "look, mickey mouse is waiting for you in your bed" or something like that. My son has Woody and Buzz from Toy Story and it helped for me. the same thing goes for new sheets: i bought my son Superman and soccer sheets, he loved it. When he grows older you can try a different bed (if he has his own room even better because you can put lots of things he likes in his room). The only thing in these kind of situations is that you have to be persistent: children are very clever so if they realize they can mess with you in a way that they think that's funny, they will do everything to make you angry. So, if you want your child to see you are serious, you have to be persistent, you shoudldn't give up. If you give up, your child will realize that and it will go on and on. For example, my son's potty traingin lasted for 2 months because i was persistent, even when my apartment looked like some animals have been there, and my friend's child potty training lasted for over 6 months, even more, because they weren't persistent. I hope some of these tips help you.
