Hi-ya. I have a daughter who is just turning 7 months old and i am nearly 6 months pregnant with another little girl! Does anyone else have children so close together and if so how do you find it?? I am worried i wont have enough hands to handle them both or if i'll cope with the demand of 2 small children, I am so excited about her arrival but feel a little overwhelmed too!!

My kids are 17 months apart, however I miscarried one IN BETWEEN the two of them! When my oldest was 8 weeks old I got pregnant again! They were going to be 11 months apart! But the two now are SO CLOSE it's amazing! I WOULD NOT do it any other way! And if I had it to do all over again, I would have the probably the same amount apart, or even closer together! They are now 3 and 1 1/2, and they really do love each other and have so much fun playing together!!!

my daughters will be 3 and 4 in may... my oldest was born may 21 and my youngest may 12 yeah everyone told me i planned nicely lol... its hard i admit i am a single mother and also go to school full time. You have to do because they depend on you. but there are many plus sides they always have a playmate! they will both start and finish school a year apart :) they act like twins and many people think mine are :) potty training was easy for my oldest my youngest isn't grasping it she will only head to potty when her sister does and she doesn't have to go then. but its a joy and you will do awsome :) i remember when i brought my youngest home from hospital she just wanted to help and be around the baby all the time so bounding times work with everyone :) good luck and congratz

I found out I was preggo with my youngest on my sons 1st birthday. He actually took it well when she was born and wanted to help feed her. I think he was 16 months old when I had her.

Hi Emma, I have two children a little girl 'Jayla' and a little boy 'Jett' and they are 12months and 20days apart. It is pretty crazy at first but once i got a routine in place, it was great. Jayla is now 15 months and Jett is 3months, i am lucky enough to have them both sleeping for at least 12hours at night. And i find that Jayla is not bothered by him at all, she is quite helpful actually. Also in between having them imy husband and i got married so the past couple of years has been an absolute blurr, but as the time goes on it gets easier and easier. I was worried at first aswell but as you would know from having your first its amazing how quickly we adapt and do things cause we have to :-) it'll all work out for you, try not to worry xoxo

My 1st son will be 3 in June and my 2nd son will be 1 in july... so that makes them 25 months a 2 days apart, and i can't imagine them being any closer... it's hard enough with that distance between them.

My children are 16 months apart. It was hard at times when they were both in diapers, but now that they are older, it is very enjoyable. They entertain each other, they always have someone to play with.

Hiya i have 3 boys Cameron 6yrs Lewis 16mth and Thomas 5mth and i love the fact that there so close in age Cameron love his baby brothers and love's to play and help with them. And Lewis is always coming up to Thomas and giving him kisses and hugs he even likes to help feed him. And the best thing is you can see how much they love each other they give the biggest smiles to each other. Good luck and enjoy your babies

i was so glad to see this post! my son is 10 months old and i just found out i'm 6 weeks pregnant. i'm a little panicked, because i feel like my son is gonna miss out on all the attention he's so used to getting. plus he's almost walking and i only planned on breastfeeding for a year so i felt like i was finally getting a little more time to my sanity, and now i'm starting all over!

my firdt two kis are 14 months apart and they are so close my son is the oldest and he thinks of his little sister as his best friend they do everything together. it is not as hard to take care of the two little ones. you just have to remember to spend special time with the older one when the younger one is sleeping.

My daughter and son are 4 days shy of 1 year apart.

I think its great that they are close in age, they're always playing and looking out for one another. My son, looks up to his sister so much that he learned to walk early, talk early,,well baby talk.. hehe. Its tough, but you get all the diaper changing/potty training out of the way all at once... They usually wake up, eat and nap at the same time, so that makes it easier for me. But the kids also have a great hands-on daddy that they adore, so he helps me out alot too! Good luck with your new baby, enjoy every moment with your kids =)

Yea we have a lot of family on both sides to help out so we will be taking advantage of everything and anything they offer us lol i also have a 9 year old as ya can tell from my pic and im hopeing he dosn't feel too lost when baby arrives. I'm kind of relying on family help so i can still get time with him kust 1-1! I hope that my girls will be close as they grow and my mum did say a similar thing when i expressed my concerns to her, she said i'd cope because i have to!!!

I'm due to deliver my second child any day now, I'm due next Thursday, My kids are going to be 13 months apart, and the best advice I got was from My husbands Aunt she has a 2 and a 3 yr. old there 11 months apart and she said that it's hard the first few years but once you get past potty training it gets a lot easier and they are always playing together and looking for each other and that you can cope because you have to, Your a mom and you'll be surprised by just how much you can actually handle when it's placed before you. I was in the same frame of mind as you when I found out I was having this one so I know exactly where your coming from, If you have a support system around you use them, I know I'm going to be using mine.
