How do I entertain a suddenly clingy 16 month old while dealing with a high maintenance 3 month old?

I have a gorgeous 16 month old, who until recently could entertain herself while I dealt with her sister. Recently though she wants me to play with her and I can't deal with both at the same time!!! Suggestions? 3 month old is also going through a growth phase which seriously feels like she's attached to me alllll day haha...

She "helps" with everything until baby needs to be fed (BF) it's these times that i'm having trouble with, and special movie or toy helped for a bit, but have now run out of ideas. The jealousy is definitely there, I still need to co sleep with baby (she eats a ton!!!) and I noticed the older one suddenly wants to nap in our bed as well...

Does the 16 month old like to help? Maybe see if she can help you change the baby (holding the diaper, or singing a song). Or helping with laundry when baby is sleeping. I think she misses time with Mommy and is a bit jealous, but I could very well be wrong.

Read stories, get her a doll she can feed and dress etc. while you attend to the baby.

what helped me in that situation is i got my daughter (who is older than my son) to help me with him. i made it fun tho. you know like instead of me doing everything by myself, i had her throw the diapers away. or instead of my son feeding himself, i asked my daughter if she would like to try. i figured letting her make a choice to help me instead of me telling her to seemed to work a lot better and i got a better result. it made her feel like she had some responsibility, but at the same time i didn't let her think she had to do it. hopefully this helps....
